The Central Queensland map extends from Maryborough in the south to Mackay and Eungella National Park in the north and covers an area almost as far west as Blackall. All towns, roads, national parks and places of interest are marked on the map along with a wealth of additional tourist information on the reverse side. Smaller maps of Rockhampton, Mackay, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Capricorn Coast and the Capricorn Gemfields are also provided.

Indexed road map of the central part of Queensland's coast, from Maryborough and Fraser Island to Mackay and inland to Jericho and the Great Dividing Range. Topography is shown only by names of various mountain and hill ranges, plus spot heights with peak names. The map highlights national park areas, Aboriginal communities, historic sites, etc. Many places of interest are also annotated with brief notes. Latitude/longitude grid is at 1º intervals. On the reverse there are enlargements for the Capricorn Gemfields and the Capricorn Coast areas, plus street plans of Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Mackay and Gladstone.
